About Me

The Better You Look
The More You See

I'm a Detroit-based Art Director, designer, and independent creative with a background spanning graphic design, illustration, branding, product development, e-commerce, and visual marketing. My work bridges commercial design and independent art, combining creative direction with the hands-on ability to take an idea from its earliest concept through production, launch, and beyond.

My interest in art and technology started early. Some of my first memories are of watching my mother hand-letter signs while I drew Ninja Turtles. I eventually began experimenting with digital art, customizing assets in The Sims, and teaching myself QBasic to create generative patterns. That curiosity led me to the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, where I studied Illustration.

After college, I joined Robert KIDD Gallery and became involved in Detroit's emerging arts community. In 2009, an art collective I was part of received a grant to create a nine-story public art installation, helping lay the groundwork for North End Studios, an independent art and event space where we hosted exhibitions, music events, and collaborations with artists from around the world.

My professional career eventually expanded into digital design and marketing, where I spent nearly a decade working across web design, branding, advertising, and e-commerce at High Level Marketing (now Superpath). That experience gave me a strong foundation in both creative execution and the practical demands of producing work at scale.

Today, I work as an Art Director at Ashh Inc., supporting Ooze and Cannatron's house of brands. My responsibilities span product development, packaging, catalog photography, e-commerce, branding, marketing campaigns, and ongoing creative production. From developing new products to bringing them to market, I work across the entire creative process, balancing visual consistency with the demands of a growing portfolio of brands.

Outside of my professional work, I've built an independent creative practice through Palm Treat, my art and design brand. What began as an outlet for large-scale paintings and experimental graphics has grown into an independently operated business generating more than $1 million, with work spanning apparel, merchandise, collaborations, and commercial creative projects. I've worked with artists, musicians, and brands including Lyrical Lemonade, Pink Floyd, FaZe Clan, Lonely Kids Club, Meow Wolf, Everything is Terrible and Vapor95, whose products have reached major retailers including Hot Topic and Zumiez.

My independent projects also extend into creative production, brand development, and the arts. From Dragon Preserves and its connection to Clyde Realty to residency work at Casa Lienzo and a weird road trip to MAD Arts to benefit dogs, I continue to pursue projects that exist outside the boundaries of traditional commercial design.

I enjoy working across disciplines, learning new tools, solving unconventional problems, and finding ways to make ideas more interesting, effective, and memorable. Whether I'm developing a brand, designing a product, building an online storefront, directing a campaign, or creating something purely for the sake of making it, I bring the same curiosity and attention to detail to the process.
